Abstract

|
Histiocytic medullary reticulosis is a clinicopathologic syndrome characterized by its
acute onset and rapid progression to death within a few months. A case of histiocytic
medullary reticulosis, with nodular skin lesions suggestive of lymphomatous infiltration
as early sign, is presented in the literature and about 10% of cases may have these
lesions, which can be aid in diagnosis. Presented a 36 year-old male patient, achieved
complete remission with cyclic chemotherapy consisting of bleomycin, adriamycin,
cyclophosphamide, vincristine and prednisolone. He is alive and free of disease more
than 9 months.
